What is the public sphere? How can we sense and map the public sphere through things? What can aesthetic objects – things that make us imagine and feel – tell us about how we form connection with others?
This talk explores how we connect with other through things, and how this connection forms the public that we are part of. We talk about collaging, making together, and how aesthetic objects bring various people with different perspectives together. After all, the public sphere should belong to the public, and the public consists of so many different people.
This is part of a series of public events introducing the THINGSTIGATE research project. The project is funded by the European Research Council. For full program, go to linktr.ee/thingstigate.
