Beskrivning
Erwin Schrödinger once formulated the famous Gedankenexperiment of a cat that is both dead and alive at the same time. Obviously, we have never seen such a "quantum" cat. But the question is: Why? Why do we not observe quantum behavior for larger objects? Why is such a behavior so far only ascribed to the microscopic world?
Lets look at novel ideas of how to extend quantum mechanical behavior to larger objects. What are the potential limits? Why could this not be possible?
