Join us on an amazing journey through the Astra Zeneca Gothenburg site. During the tour the students, together with young scientists at AstraZeneca, will have the opportunity to learn how we create our medicines. You will see how an idea leads to drug discovery, clinical trials and finishes with medicine delivered to patients. This is a unique opportunity to not only visit our site but see how our scientists develop new breakthrough therapies - up close and personal!

The students will learn about our history and our drug development process through a series of interactive stations. For example, they will try beating a robot to see who can analyse samples more quickly, but also experience how patients with heart and lung conditions may feel. All to understand why it is important that we continuously push the boundaries of science to deliver not only treatments but also cures of disease, and in turn change our patients life for the better. All while keeping focus on making our work more sustainable and ensure everyone can benefit from our discoveries.

We hope that this activity will inspire the students and show off the multitude of possible impactful career paths.
